Balsamic glaze is simply cooked down balsamic vinegar, making it thicker and sweeter.
The consistency and sweetness of the balsamic glaze and balsamic vinegar differ. Balsamic vinegar is totally liquid, less sweet, and is commonly used in recipes.
Drizzle over Caprese salads, thick slices of bruschetta, grilled veggies, chicken, pork, steak, or salmon, summer berries, thin-crust pizza, or vanilla ice cream. It's also a great addition to a cheese platter.
